Delete your classnote account
You can delete your account and data from inside the app, or send us a request with the form at the bottom of this page.
Delete in the app
Open the classnote app, go to Settings > Delete account and follow the steps. We suggest exporting your data first; the export button is on the same screen.
The 30-day wait and cancelling
After you ask, the account is read-only for 30 days: you can still look at and export your data but cannot add to it. You can cancel the request at any time during these 30 days, from the app. After 30 days the data is deleted.
What is deleted and what may be kept
Deleted: the sign-in account, classes, students, parents, sessions, attendance, invoices, payments, attachments and the links shared with parents.
May be kept: some financial records may have to be kept by law; if so they are anonymised. Backups still hold the data until the older backups expire.
Cannot use the app? Send us a request
Fill in the form below with the email of your classnote account. We reply only to the email address registered on the account, never to the address typed in the form, and we act only after confirming through that address.
